Hôm nay 5/12, ít nhất 200 ngàn người tập trung tại Quảng trường Hoàng gia dự Lễ kỷ niệm sinh nhật lần thứ 85 của Đức vua Bhumibol Adulyadej. Đài truyền hình Thái Lan đã phát các hình ảnh cho thấy một biển người mặc áo vàng, vẫy cờ Hoàng gia và cờ Thái Lan.

Recognized as the “Father of the Thai Nation,” His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej is best loved by the Thai people. His birthday, 5 December, is regarded as a very significant day in Thailand.

The day, which is a public holiday, is also observed as Thailand’s National Day and National Father’s Day.

Botanic Garden Fair in Celebration of His Majesty the King’s Birthday

The Botanical Garden Organization, under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, is organizing a Botanic Garden Fair in celebration of His Majesty the King’s Birthday, 5 December 2012.

The nine-day fair, the third of its kind, takes place at Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden in Mae Rim district, Chiang Mai province, from 1-9 December 2012.
